Dogs Trust

This KS1/2 resource provides activities and information to deliver Unit 3 of the QCA Scheme of Work for Citizenship, ‘Animals and us’, and can also be used in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. The resource compliments the Key Stage 1&2 Assembly resource available on the 'Learn with dogs' site.

Citizenship Education for Young People with Special Educational Needs: A Teaching Resource

The resource, which is available to download, is the result of a year long project. The activities within it were developed and written up by eleven teachers then piloted in a number of schools. The activities are specifically targeted at pupils with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties (SLD and PMLD) between the ages of 11 and 16 but are suitable for a wider ability and age range. www.citizen.org.uk/education/senresources.html

These are all the free publications produced by UNICEF UK which cover most aspects of the PSHE/Citizenship curriculum. They are either available as downloads or in the shop. RNLI Free resources

Free resources for KS2 and KS3 about sea safety, active Citizenship, teamwork and the RNLI - you can even request a school visit. You have to send an email to the Education Manager.
